Hades is an active sub woofer reaching the low end notes and, more impressive, the low end information to give size and scale to the sound stage. This is absolutely necessary to give justice to recordings of large rooms such as concert halls.

Hades uses a bass driver with ultra stiff ceramic sandwich membrane. The voice coil is made of titanium which is light, stable and provides excellent thermal properties.

Hades is powered with a plateamp of your choice, but by default this is the Hypex DS2.0 Class D 175 watts power amplifier. Due to the DS 2.0s' large range of tone controls, a problem-free connection is possible to any engelholm audios loudspeaker. You can choose DS 1.2, 2.0 or go for the powerful DS 4.0 or DS 8.0 to fit your needs. Prices are adjusted accordingly.
A really exciting system is when using Devialet with its built in crossover which is used to further match the Hades/main speakers. Contact your dealer or engelholm audio directly for more information.
